  •  MENTORING – You will be working in teams with colleagues who have a variety of skillsets and academic and cultural backgrounds. We promote a work environment that encourages employees to share learned job skills and experience. Any time employees can experience or learn something new on the job, it contributes to their development. Many of our projects involve a team-based approach which promotes interaction between employees with a variety of skillsets.

  • E-LEARNING - We provide engaging training using live webinars, web‑based and CD‑ROM Multimedia courses.  Webinars are lead by our senior staff members and include topics ranging from innovative technologies to project management.  Our comprehensive CD‑ROM course library that includes more than 50 engineering and safety courses. 

  • EXTERNAL LEARNING - In-house learning is complemented by company-sponsored employee attendance at approved seminars and conferences as well as company-paid membership in professional organizations. Full-time employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement for job-related college level courses, or courses helpful to an individual progression within the company.  
  • LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT - HSA's Leadership Training Program was implemented to facilitate the professional growth of our management staff.   The goal of the Program is to provide a forum of participation and presentation to instill the skills, attitudes, and attributes needed to lead HSA into the future.  The essential skills curriculm was designed to enhance our future leaders business and product knowledge and includes: operations, communication, business development, marketing, and human resources.
