The needs of our clients are foremost, both in terms of global business strategy and management of environmental resources. Throughout our history of service, HSA has offered extensive expertise in the design, implementation, and management of site investigation and remediation programs. Our experience includes assessment/remediation of soil, sediment and/or groundwater that has been impacted by chemical constituents under the regulatory umbrella of Federal programs, as well as under State and Municipal environmental regulations and ordinances. Our portfolio of successful projects includes: remedial investigation/feasibility studies (RI/FS) associated with Superfund sites; numerous RCRA Facility Investigations (RFI)/Corrective Measures Studies (CMS); and State coordinated Contamination Assessment and Remedial Action Plans (CAP/RAP) associated with hundreds of projects in connection with petroleum, drycleaning solvents, heavy metals, pesticides and explosives; and numerous Brownfields projects.

Due to our extensive experience in site investigation, we are able to design, implement, and complete focused and effective investigative programs required to characterize contamination, determine fate-and-transport mechanisms, and, if necessary, evaluate possible corrective action scenarios and their associated costs. HSA understands that each site presents its own set of unique challenges. There are no cookie-cutter solutions for every site. HSA proactively focuses upon a solution-oriented approach to every environmental project rather than a study-based approach.  By focusing on the end goal of the project, HSA is able to develop investigative programs with the client’s business objectives in mind.

Beyond the site investigation, HSA provides cost-effective and technically-justifiable remediation strategies. Our superior project management strategies combine outstanding safety performance with innovative, technically sound, and dependable solutions to environmental concerns. This equates to unsurpassed value that affords HSA a competitive edge and the strong respect from our clients, the regulatory community, and public stakeholders alike. From the development of site investigation strategies through the design, construction and operation and maintenance of full‑scale remediation systems, HSA works proactively on behalf of our clients to minimize costs and risk and provide the highest quality work product.
