Many areas of the world face sustainability challenges as the needs for potable water supply, irrigation, and proper waste treatment continue to grow. With the additional need to minimize contamination of our ecosystems from wastewater discharges, the global community is faced with complex challenges in the management of its water resources. As we strive to protect and preserve our surface water quality and diminishing groundwater supplies, and address traditional concerns such as flood and erosion control, HSA applies technical creativity to develop solutions in all areas of water resources management.
HSA understands the importance of protecting our surface waters and effective management of our groundwater resources. Due to the diversity of our ecosystems and communities, water resource applications span a wide spectrum of technical services. Virtually every environmental, civil, and municipal undertaking involves water resources engineering to some degree. Our expertise has been solicited by Federal, State and local governments as well as many from within the regulated industries and has included the development of water supply/needs resources, water treatment, ecological restoration, and water conservation programs.
